Greetings fellow users of PsDotNet!

First off, let me say Happy New Years to you! I hope 2019 brings you much success and happiness.

Second, I have some exciting news to share in regards to the future of PsDotNet Library and PsDotNet Listener. Over the last year things have progressed well and I feel like the library and application have matured enough to graduate to a full-fledged non-time locked products! No more beta builds!

I would like to thank you all for your feedback and bug reports over the years! This has been a passion project for me and I have enjoyed developing it and seeing how you are using it with your own projects. I truly hope that you have found it useful!

Now some new things! This might be a bit long so here is the TLDR; version:

  • The next build will feature a new licensing mechanism.
  • Both products are available NOW via Gumroad store –
  • PsDotNet Library non-commercial license will be completely FREE! (You can “name your own price” if so inclined. I appreciate any support you are able to give!)
  • There are now four tiers of paid commercial licenses.
  • Discount code for Beta participants! Check your email.
  • All of this is to support development of new features, updates, and new “stuff”.

Now the specifics. With this change to full-fledged products I wanted to take this opportunity to make a few minor updates to the library and change how it is deployed. All of this is in an effort to support further development of the Library, Listener, and other stuff I have kicking around in my head.

With the next build PsDotNet Library and Listener they will utilize a quick and non-intrusive licensing mechanism. There are a few easy ways to license the products depending on your specific use case. The .zip files contain a Demo license that can be used(or not) while you wait for your individual one via email. More information can be found here:

The second change I wanted to make is to move where you download builds from. The website that I setup worked great for early development, but to support licensing and better customer interaction I wanted something better. The new builds are available right now on my Gumroad store ( No more having to login on to download things!

Up to this point I have made these products free in return for your collective feedback and while I figured out what to do with them.  I have spent personal time and money to support this effort, including web hosting, Creative Cloud subscription, remote desktop sessions, code snippets, etc.. all in an effort to help. There is so much more I would like to develop but now I need your help to do so. A while ago I surveyed users and based on your feedback I have come up with the following licensing tiers and pricing. It bears mentioning that these are one time\lifetime fees for these two products. You will get all updates free of charge.

Library Listener per user
Personal (non-commercial use) FREE  $ 5
Micro Business (Revenue under $100k)  $ 49  $ 10
Small Business (Revenue $100k – $300k)  $ 199  $ 15
Medium Business (Revenue $300k – $1m)  $ 499  $ 20
Large Business (Revenue over $1m)  $ 999  $ 25

I think that’s it! Epic! If you have any questions or feedback please feel free to email me at and I will get back to you ASAP.
